Emberson who had the course built in the 1970’s as a nine hole course and then added the beautiful wildlife infested picturesque back nine in the 1990’s. Your vision continues to awe your customers to this day Sir. Job well done! Course was named after the creek that runs along side the course. We were fortunate enough to see a buck and a doe playing in the creek while on the 13th green, of course it is putting season right!

WOW! What an absolute great golf course in Bardstown KY. The Kenny Rapier Championship Golf Course located on My Old Kentucky Home State Park is a gem with great greens, fairways, and challenging holes. It is a course very well manicured sitting on a hill with some of the most famous distilleries in the world!!! The staff was very nice and accommodating. We must thank Ron Vanover Deputy Commissioner Kentucky Department of Parks as well as Julie Garland Executive Administrator for assisting us getting on this very nice and busy course at such a short notice. We must admit when we saw The Wicked Eyed Woman Public House in Elizabethtown KY as a place to eat lunch we were more than apprehensive. Let me just say, when we walked through the door all the skepticism was laid to rest. This place ranks among the very best meal we have had on the cancer tour. We all had sandwiches which were absolutely great but the real winner was their homemade fries…let me tell you they were to die for!!!!! Their special sauce they served was second to none BUT what stole the show was the incredibly nice server we had. Andrew Buchanan was the very best. He set the tone with his welcoming enthusiastic attitude. Elizabethtown Country Club ranks among the top 5 courses we have played on the cancer tour to date. The course is in immaculate shape with plush fairways and amazing greens that are deceptively fast. Lindsey Golf Course on Ft. Knox Army Installation-Hardin County. What an amazing golf course that is open to the public. This hidden gem features challenging holes with just the right amount of trees and water to keep you on your toes. You must hit some precision shots to very well manicured greens. Pay close attention to some fairway marker flags that we may or may not have thought was a very short par 3 on hole #3, needless to say we had an extremely long second shot into the green 🙂 This course is a MUST play if you visit anywhere around the Elizabethtown KY area. What an amazing resort and golf course tucked away in Bronston, KY-Pulaski County. The Woodson Bend Resort and Golf Course is an absolute hidden gem. This course ranks among the top 10 of the 120 courses we have played on the cancer tour thus far. Very well manicured with great fairways and greens. Very scenic course with some challenging holes. This is a MUST play if you are around Pulaski County KY. Oh, and did I mention the people at this course are very friendly and accommodating. Juniper Hill Golf Course has the distinction of being one of the most heavily played courses in the state of Kentucky. Multiple times they have recorded more rounds played than any other course in Kentucky. This course was so busy but thanks to Club Pro Kirk Schooley we were able to get on. Michele is a 5 time multiple cancer survivor who displays the most positive and grateful attitude towards life. If there was anyone who had the right to drown herself in pity, it would be Michele. Stopped Firehouse Subs in Somerset on the way home from Eastern KY Trip #3 on 05-22-2021. Met Dyllan Keith who started all four years in football at Somerset High School. He played a crucial role in defeating Mayfield in the 2019 Class AA State Football Championship Game. Very nice young man. Thank you Dyllan and congratulations on the 2019 Class AA State Football Championship. This will be an accomplishment and memory that will forever be remembered in Somerset.
Wasioto Winds Golf Course at Pine Mountain State Park in Pineville KY- Bell County 05-22-2021. We all have to give a big shout out to the maintenance staff for your long hours of cleaning the mud and debris from the flood. The entire course was under about 10′ of water in 2020 and reopened a few days ago. What a fantastic course that challenges your ability to place your shots.
